Looking for some ideas to spruce up your Christmas gifts this year while being environmentally sensitive?  Consider the Japanese art of Furoshiki.  Using the different folding techniques, you can avoid much of the waste that comes along with gift giving and add a touch of class all at the same time.

Here are some techniques called “Mottainai Furoshiki” created by Yuriko Koike, Japan’s Minister of the Environment, as a symbol of Japanese culture to reduce waste.
