Eco-Landscaping can be considered to include a number of practices that helps the environment and also be easy on the pocketbook. 

If all the practices of eco-landscaping you should see reduced waste, fertilizer and chemicals needed, lower utility bills, and best of all less yard maintenance.

Xeriscape (zeer – eh – skape), zeroscaping, or smart scaping, all refer to ways of landscaping or gardening that reduces or eliminates the need for additional irrigation.  This is often achieved by incorporating native and drought-resistant plants, and use of mulch to retain moisture in the soil.
